Builders Tribe partner and referral terms

These terms apply to anyone approved as a Builders Tribe delegation partner or referrer. By applying, sharing your link or accepting a commission, you agree to them together with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Delegation Terms.

Joining is free. Approval is at our discretion and does not create employment, agency, partnership or joint venture. You may not sign contracts, make promises or collect money on behalf of Builders Tribe.

An attendee counts as your introduction when they sign up with your link or code, or choose you as their referrer when signing up. If an attendee names a different referrer, their choice wins. Where two partners claim the same attendee, our records are final.

You cannot earn commission on your own place, on places bought by your own company, or on attendees who were already in contact with us before your introduction.

You earn a flat commission of $100 (US dollars) for each person you introduced who pays for a delegation. Nothing is due on any amount later refunded, credited or disputed.

Commission shows as Potential while an attendee is registered, Confirmed once their payment has cleared, and Paid out once we have sent it.

Confirmed commission is paid within 90 days after the delegation it relates to has finished, to the payout details in your partner dashboard. You are responsible for keeping those details correct; payments sent to details you supplied are treated as paid.

If an attendee moves their credit to a later delegation, the commission moves with them and is paid after that delegation.

You are responsible for any tax due on your commission. We may deduct taxes or transfer charges where the law or our payment provider requires.

No commission is due, and any paid commission may be recovered or set off against future commission, if the attendee's payment is refunded, credited, charged back or disputed, if the attendee does not travel, or if the introduction breaks these terms.

We may withhold commission while we look into suspected fraud, self-referral, fake sign-ups or misuse of your link.

Describe delegations honestly, using the prices, dates and details on our website. Do not promise visas, investment, meetings or outcomes, and do not offer your own discounts unless we have agreed them in writing.

Do not spam, bid on our brand name in paid search, impersonate us, or use our logo other than as shown in our brand kit. Tell people you may earn a commission when you recommend us.

Only share an attendee's details with us with their permission. You will see limited information about attendees you introduced; you must keep it confidential and use it only to support their delegation.

Either side may end the partnership at any time. Confirmed commission earned before then will still be paid under these terms, unless it was ended for a breach, in which case unpaid commission is forfeited.

Our total liability to you is limited to the confirmed commission owed to you. We may change the commission amount or these terms for future introductions with notice in your partner dashboard.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, with disputes referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Mediation Act of Nigeria after 30 days of good-faith discussion.
